Margie Marie Young

July 12, 1970 — April 23, 2026

Bridgeport

Margie Marie Young, born Margie Marie Haney, passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 55. She was born on July 12, 1970, in Farmington, Missouri and made her home in Bridgeport, where she built a life centered on love, family, and compassion for others.

Margie was preceded in death by her biological parents, David and Alice Haney; her adopted father, Kenneth Allen; the father of her children, Kenneth Graham; her sister, Kathy Mangum; her brother, Robert Maloney; her daughter, Ashley Brown; and her son, Justin Graham.

She is survived by her loving mother, Frances Allen of Fort Worth; her daughter, Amanda Graham of Bridgeport; and her cherished grandchildren Trinity Deaver, Emily Deaver, and Nevaeh Wells. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Raynlee Gonzalez, who was just three months old at the time of her passing. She leaves behind a niece and nephew that were like her own children, Kathy Mangum and Donald Mangum, and Kathy's daughter, Nova Trester.

Margie is also survived by Justin’s sons, Jesse Graham and Landyn DeLack; her son Brandon Graham and his wife Keely of Rhome, along with their children Jasper Mangum and Harper Graham; her son Wesley Young and his wife Jessica of Arkansas, and their children Tailus Kash, Karsyn Young, and Mattie Young.

She is further survived by her stepdaughter Brittany Giwoyna and husband Anthony of Fort Worth, and their children Ethan Miller, Madisyn Miller, and Hannah Miller; and her stepson Jeremey Young of Haslet.

Margie also leaves behind her sisters, Jackie Buckwheat and husband Michael of Rhome, and Brenda Ulrich and her husband Ron of Glen Rose.

Margie will be remembered for her generous heart and selfless spirit. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and never hesitated to open her home to those who needed a place to stay. Over the years, she touched countless lives with her kindness, hospitality, and unwavering willingness to help others.

She deeply valued her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Becoming a great-grandmother brought her immense joy, and that love was felt deeply in the short but meaningful time she shared with her newest little blessing.

Margie had a strong faith in God that guided her life and relationships. She found joy in simple pleasures—watching Lifetime movies, especially her favorite show, Heartland, and spending time playing card games with her loved ones.

A hardworking woman, Margie spent much of her life working in the food industry and wherever she was needed, continuing to provide for her family until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She was an incredible mother and a devoted “Nanny,” a role she embraced with all her heart.

She will also be remembered fondly for her strong will, her stubborn streak, and her ability to hold a grudge—traits that made her uniquely herself and brought both laughter and love to those who knew her best.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Margie will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery, where she will rest beside the father of her children, Kenneth Graham.

Margie’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the impact she made on her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her will live on forever.
