Blue Mound ~ Margie New Lemme Jones, 72, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, January 14, 2012 in North Richland Hills.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at The Oasis Church in Saginaw with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 420 W. Green Street, Saginaw, TX 76179, (817)232-4426.
Rev. F.J. Pearce will officiate with Michael Shutter assisting. Pallbearers are John Brown, Jeff Brown, Roland Moore, Donnie Moore, Dean Anderson, and Ted Jones.
Margie was born March 18, 1939 to Vernon and Sylvia (Samples) New in Alvord. She was united in marriage to Virgil Marvin Jones on October 7, 2005 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She played the piano for 33 years at Saginaw Assembly of God and White Settlement Assembly of God. Margie was a member at The Oasis Church in Saginaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband, Melvin Lemme; her son, Melvin Lemme, Jr; and her sister, Linda Ryan.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Virgil Jones of Blue Mound; her daughter, Rhonda Holman and husband Danny of Pampa; her son, Randy Lemme and wife Lorrie of Haslet; her grandchildren, Nicole, Bobby, Courtney, and Haley; her great grandchild, Korbyn; her sisters, Trish New of Decatur and Reba Brown of Denton; her brother, Tommy New of Lewisville; other family members and a host of friends.
