BOYD -- Margaret R. Watson Waldon, 69, a retired welder for Del Norte Technology, Inc., died Thursday, November 2, 2006 in Boyd.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Research and Solaris Hospice of Decatur.
Margaret was born in Woodson, Texas, the daughter of the late Edkar and Dora (Cook) Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Lee Roy Watson, James Watson, Jackie Dan Watson, Joseph Watson, and Don Watson.
Margaret had a great love for her family, quilting, collecting Barbie, garage sales, gambling, and a good card game.
Survivors: sons: Danny Waldon and wife Paula of Boyd, Mike Garland and wife Susan of Boyd; daughter: Tammy Lauritsen and husband Dana of Boyd; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers: Oliver Watson and wife Marilyn of Olney, Edkar "Jr" Watson and wife Deveda of Woodson, and Ronnie Watson of Throckmorton; sisters: Pearl Gillock and husband Bob of Olney, Dorothy Evans of Jefferson, Venita Stephens of Jefferson, Nettie Miller and husband R.L. of Ranger, Nell Burns and husband Tim of Euless, and Jean Watson of Eastland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
