SPRINGTOWN -- Margaret Chapmon LaFountain, 69, a retired care giver in Home Health, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 in Azle. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Annis Chapel Baptist Church. Burial: Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Margaret was born on May 13, 1937 in Houston, Texas. She had been a resident of the Springtown area for 33 years. She was a member of the Annis Chapel Baptist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Ella Irene (Barrick) Campbell; her first husband, Paul J. Chapmon; her second husband, William B. LaFountain; her son, Paul Cling Chapmon; and her sister, Mary Turner.
Survivors: daughters: Paula Duncan, Brenda Harris and husband Dennis; son: Clifton Chapmon; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters: Jessie Regan, Alice Causey, Joyce Fajardo; brother: Bob Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews.
