Fort Worth ~ Margaret Louise Cowart, 89, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Fort Worth.

Funeral Service is 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Margaret was born on December 20, 1936, to Frank and Helen (Day) Pluckebaum in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Flloyd Cowart in 1979 in Fort Worth. Margaret dedicated several years of her career to working as an inspector for Motorola and Siecor, now known as Corning Inc. During her time there, she was responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of their products, bringing attention to detail and expertise to maintain high manufacturing standards. She loved every moment with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Whether playing games or sharing stories, their laughter filled her heart with joy and created cherished memories. Margaret was a beloved mother, grandmother to 4 generations, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Flloyd Cowart; her son, Kenneth Moore; her grandson, Robert Anderson; and her great-grandson, Lloyd M. Anderson, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Micheal Moore, and his wife, Kyung Mi of Fort Worth; her daughter, Peggy IDell, and her husband, Lloyd Anderson of Decatur; her grandchildren, Lloyd M. Anderson, Brandi Anderson, Sherrie Anderson, and Michelle Moore; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
