PARADISE -- Margaret "Margie" Amon, 67, a Realtor for RE/MAX and Preferred Properties, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 25, 2009, in Paradise.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Cottondale. Burial: 3 p.m. at Richland Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rev. Charles Pugh, Rev. Joseph Jernagin and Bob Boughton will officiate. Pallbearers: Bob Boughton, Duane Read, Johnny Zuniga, James Thompson, Justin Thompson, and James Hugh Major. Honorary pallbearers: Billy Skidmore, Ashley Langley, Buddy Patterson, Darrell James, Bill Drug, and Cash Houpt.

Margie was born on April 25, 1941, the daughter of Charlie and Anna (Varner) Wray, in Waxahachie. She married Jack Amon on March 24, 1984 in Arlington.

Margie was a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Greater Denton-Wise Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the RE/MAX Platinum Club, the RE/MAX Hall Of Fame, Eastern Star, Nocona Hills Ladies Bible Study, and the First Baptist Church in Cottondale.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Wray, her brother, Jerry Wray, and a grandchild, Jennelle Fuller.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is: her husband of 24 years, Jack Amon of Paradise; sons: William Fuller of Whitney, Brett Fuller and wife Debbie of Paradise; step children: Ruth Norvell and husband Phil of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dan Amon and wife Pam of Austin, Dave Amon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rachel Tusberg of New Hampshire; 24 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; mother, Anna Lou Wray of Nocona; brother, Jimmy Wray of Austin; and numerous friends.

Memorials: The American Cancer Society and the First Baptist Church in Cottondale.
