She was united in marriage to Charles Caldwell on October 29, 2005 at the Living Word Assembly of God Church in Alvord. Marcy attended nursing school when she was 18. She loved nursing so much that she didn’t retire until she was 83. Marcy was a kind, caring, and gentle nurse and there are not many in Wise County that haven’t received a shot from Nurse Marcy, a title in which she would be honored to have. She was full of spunk and life, even line dancing at her 90th birthday party. Marcy loved to dance, travel, and every Saturday she would attend an auction in Boyd. She was an amazing lady who loved The Lord, adored her children, grand and great-grandchildren, and her family. Marcy left behind a great legacy for her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
