Marcie Anne Jenkins

Marcie Anne Jenkins, a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 54 in Denton, Texas. Born on November 1, 1970, in Hobbs, New Mexico, Marcie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to caring for others, a characteristic that always defined her professional life.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 24, 2025, 2:00 PM at Hawkins Funeral Home, located at 405 E Main St, Decatur, TX 76234. This gathering will honor her life and the positive impact she made on all who knew her.

Marcie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, which laid the foundation for her successful career in nursing. Her work not only showcased her exceptional skills but also highlighted her deep empathy for patients and their families. She touched countless lives during her tenure, forging bonds that extended well beyond the walls of the medical facilities where she worked.

A devoted mother, Marcie is survived by her loving daughters, Alyssa Brook and Kelli Scott, both of Decatur, and Jordan Jenkins, also of Decatur. She found great joy in her children, whom she nurtured with love and encouragement throughout their lives.

 Marcie is also survived by her mother Linda Crutcher of Hobbs, NM, her sister Tina Fraley and husband Mike of Midland, Texas, and the father of her children, Dan Jenkins of Decatur. In the embrace of her family, Marcie created a warm environment filled with love, laughter, and support, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege to know her.

Marcie was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Crutcher. His memory will forever remain a cherished part of her legacy.Marcie Anne Jenkins will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her boundless love for her family and her unwavering spirit.
