Marcia Irene (Ballard) Maynard

Boyd ~ Marcia Irene Maynard, 79, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in Boyd.

Graveside Service is 11 AM Friday, April 15, 2022 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas.

Randy Foreman will officiate.

Marcia was born December 3, 1942 to Marcus McGee and Charlotte (Pickard) Ballard in Fort Worth. She got her BA at University of Texas Arlington and worked as a clerk at Keller High School. Marcia married Eddie Jo Maynard on November 28, 1964 and remained with him for 47 years until his passing in 2012. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Marcus Edward Maynard; and her son, Frederick Kelly Maynard.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven Maynard, and Brian Maynard and his wife Leslie; her grandchildren, Madison Maynard and Monty Maynard; and numerous extended family and friends.
