Alvord: Mammie Joyce Hubbard, 71, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 26th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Davy Smith officiating. Interment: Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Clayton Hubbard, Stephen Brock, Jack Blankenship, James Hubbard, Jr., Harvey Hubbard and Randy Hubbard.
Mammie was born December 22, 1941 in Olney, Texas to Aaron and Mamie (Rogers) Hubbard. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Mary Hardin Baylor and retired from the Army Air Force Exchange as an accountant. Mammie was a member of the New Life Holiness Tabernacle in Bowie, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three brothers, Cilmon Jean Hubbard of Alvord, Arvel Hubbard and wife Mary Helen and Ronald Hubbard and wife Linda both of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
