Bridgeport----Malta "Mickie" Parker, 77 went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 in Decatur.
Memorial Service: 1pm Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel.
"Mickie" was born on January 22, 1931 in Millsap, Texas, the daughter of James and Blanch (Clark) Arterburn. She was a retired nurse from Decatur Hospital.
Mickie was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Parker in 2004. She was also preceded by her daughter-in-law, Pat Parker; her brother, Ray Arterburn; her sister, Doris Trijillo; and her grandson, James Michael Parker.
Left behind to cherish her memory are: her sons, Charles Hal Parker of Bridgeport, Kenneth James Parker and wife Jackie of Jal, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren: Amy, Niki, Angela, Charolette, Wesley, Kimberly, Kendra and Jacob; 8 great grandchildren: Matthew, Wanda, Rowdy, Tyler, Ryan, Kylie, Pete and Ayden
