Loretta was born on February 26, 1922 to Joseph and Hannah (Black) McGinnis in Lockhart, Texas. She retired from banking as a branch manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, E.C. McKeefer, and Walter Wilson; her son Ellison C. McKeefer, Sr.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Bernadette McKeefer of Decatur; her granddaughter, Michele Caballero and husband George of Decatur; her daughter-in-law, Ursula McKeefer in West Virginia; her grandson, Ellison C. McKeefer, Jr. and wife Linda of Virginia; 7 great-grandchildren, Crystal Woller and husband Kevin, Christopher Caballero, Melissa Wade and husband David, Scott, Steven, Sam, and Amanda McKeefer; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Cora Woller, and Ellen Wade; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
