Decatur ~ Lynn (Young) Morgan, 73, a retired Certified Nurses Aide of 42 years, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church in Decatur, Texas with burial in Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. Dr. Van Gardner and Bro. Bill Hughes will be officiating. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Clay Bramlett, Drew Ward, Chris Bramlett, Thomas Nowers, J.D. Fee, and Curtis Young.
Lynn was born October 23, 1941 to Melvin, Sr. and Lila (Barnett) Morgan in Fort Worth, Texas. She loved sewing, dancing, taking care of her grandchildren, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Decatur. She especially enjoyed working as a nurse's aide and developing close relationships with her patients.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kelly Bramlett and husband Clay of Decatur; 6 grandchildren, Stacey Simmons, Chelle Verstrate, Brittany Fee, J.D. Fee, Ayden Bramlett, and Abby Bramlett; 3 brothers, Lonnie, Bill, and Melvin Morgan; 2 sisters, Betty Hargrove and Elizabeth Shaw; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terry "Lynn" Debo; and brother, Richard Mabry.
