Lucy Lois (Edwards) White

Boyd ~ Lucy Lois White, 86, a retired bank teller, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 4, 2019, in Valley View.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Boyd. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Matt Edwards, James Weaver, Clayton Kelley, Drue Reeves, Todd Matlock, and Kyle Zacharias.
Lucy a 4th generation Texan, was born September 3, 1932, to Robert Frank and Audra (Loafman) Edwards in Boyd, Texas. She was united in marriage to Charles White on December 4, 1965, in Fort Worth. Lucy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Boyd.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and her brothers, Welcome and T.F. Edwards.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shari Dempsey and husband William of Valley View; her son, Joe White and wife Christina of Fort Worth; her sisters, Patsy Cooper of Weatherford, Bobbie Reeves of Hurst, and Elizabeth Zint and husband Bob of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother, Foy Edwards and wife Martha of Glenrose; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
