Decatur ~ Loyce “MeMaw” Robinson, 94, a seamstress, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Decatur.
Graveside service 11:30 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Weinert Cemetery in Weinert, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Kerry Clower will officiate. Pallbearers are grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers include Jerry Crafton, Richard Dunn, Tony Sarmento, and Gene Niblett.
Loyce was born on January 6, 1921 to Michael and Mary (McGlothlin) Raynes in Stonewall, Texas. She was united in marriage to Ivy Stephens on October 24, 1937 in Weinert, Texas. They were married 36 years until his passing in 1973. Loyce later married Harry Robinson in 1976. They were married 22 years until his passing in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Harry Robinson, and Ivy Stephens; her daughter, Mary Lou Stephens; her son, Royce Stephens.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Douglas Stephens of Arlington; her daughters, Surrynda Kay Crafton and husband Jerry of Alvord, and Roelga Sarmento and husband Tony of Nashville, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Memorials may be made to Weinert Cemetery Association.
