CHICO -- Louise Weatherly, 82, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Interment: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Louise was born on November 12, 1925 in Granbury, Texas, the daughter of Veldon and Ruth (Johnson) Tomlinson. She married Robert Weatherly on February 12, 1942 in Decatur.
Louise retired from Haggar Slacks after 29 years as a supervisor. She was a secretary for West Wise Water Board, a member of the Chico Quilting Club, and a member of the Lake Bridgeport Baptist Church. She had a great love for dominoes, gardening, and fishing.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert in 1994, her brother, J.C. Haney, and a sister, Bernice Macey.
Left behind to cherish her memory are: her daughter: Carroll A. Adams of Chico; her son: Bobby Weatherly and wife Kathy of Chico; grandchildren: Bobby, David, Cindy, and Rusty; great grandchildren: Adam, Macie, Colton, Heather, Jeffrey, Brandie, D.J., Christina, and Bubba; sisters: Glenda Anderson of Chico, Algerine Ballard of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Rita Ballard of Harrison, Pennsylvania; her brothers, Donald and Harold Haney and Milton Tomlinson.
