Decatur ~ Louise Elaina Peyton, 76, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial at Hopewell Cemetery. Open Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Dr. David Lowrie will officiate.
Louise was born May 2, 1944 to Walton and Lou Ellen (Pinkerton) Bowles in Joplin Missouri. She was united in marriage June 2, 1962 to Roy Alvin Peyton in Alvord, Texas. Louise was retired from insurance sales and a member of Decatur First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alvin Peyton; her father, Walton Walker Bowles; her mother and step father, Lou Ellen and Buford Nivens; and her sister, Joyce McGrath.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cathy Edgington of Coppell, and Sharon Neighbors and husband Randy of Decatur; her son, Alvin Peyton and wife Judy of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Triston and Tanner Edgington, Natalie Rolland and husband Chase, Nicole McAlister and husband Payton, and Crystal Neighbors, Aaron and Elaina Peyton; her brothers, Larry Nivens and wife DeAnn of Alvord, and Bruce Nivens and wife Judy of Alvord; her sisters, Susan Bowles and Paula Bowles of Hurst; extended family and a host of friends.
Memorials may be made to the Decatur First Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital
