Loren Edward "Eddie" Nielsen

Alvord ~ Loren Edward “Eddie” Nielsen, 62, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Central Baptist Church in Chico with burial at Lonestar Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Eddie was born October 12, 1960 to Loren Edward and Lois Mae (Johnson) Nielsen in Grants, New Mexico. He was a heavy equipment operator for Hanson Aggregates for many years. Eddie was a beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Edward Nielsen and Lois Mae Davidson; 3 brothers, Charles, Lloyd and Gerald “Jerry” Nielsen.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his 4 sisters, Alberta Treadway of Nebraska, Angela Applegate and husband James of Nebraska, Roxy Nielsen of Nebraska, and Faith Ward and husband Kevin of Decatur; brother, Scott Nielsen and wife Tina of Sunset; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
