CHICO -- Lola Irene "Susie" Tucker, 78, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 4, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Larry Potts to officiate.
Interment: Tucker Family Cemetery in Chico. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Susie was born April 5, 1931 to B.L. and Emma Davidson Pitts in Chico, Texas. She married Robert Tucker on December 21, 1946 in Bridgeport; he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Margaret Serell of Denver, Colorado, Doris Boulware and husband, John, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Robbie and Marcie Boulware of Fort Worth; brothers, J.D. Pitts of Chickasha, Oklahoma and James Pitts of Kaufman; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
