Lola, a lifetime resident of Boyd, was born Jan. 11, 1912 in Boyd to Hance and Dora Anderson Splawn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grover C. Cruz, son, Arlon Don Cruz, grandson, Bobby Brent Cruz, sisters, Velma Gargis and Nancy Crabb, and brothers, Grover, Elmer
