Roanoke ~ Lisa Elaine Speights, 52, a retired assistant manager, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Roanoke.
Graveside service is 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.
Rev. Cody Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers include Justin Speights, Eric Whitford, Kurtis Brunson, Gary Speights, Kelton Gayoso, Austin Kim, and Keith McGee.
Lisa was born November 20, 1965 to J.W. "Bud" and Dovie Florene (Fine) Thomas in Grapevine. She was united in marriage on August 26, 1983 to Johnny Ray Speights in Denton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bud; her husband, Johnny; her son, Rusty Speights; her sister, Charlotte Morgan; and her brother, Jerry Thomas.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Justin Speights and wife Patrisha; her daughters, Sherry "Becky" Whitford and husband Eric, and Cara Joyce Brunson and husband Kurtis Lee; her grandchildren, Morgan, Hannah, Dovie Lynn, Addison, Allison; her mother, Dovie Florene Thomas; her brothers, Bobby Thomas, James Randall Thomas and David Miaso and wife Donna; her sisters, Linda Dennis, Brenda Thomas, and Neta Gayoso; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
