Linda was born on November 2, 1946 to Hosey D. and Eddie Lee (Underwood) Perkins in Stroud, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Doyle D. White on July 21, 1965 in Arkansas City, Kansas until his passing. Linda started out in her early years in grocery business, she then moved to the medical field where she worked and loved the geriatrics department. She then found her calling, working with the veteran’s; she worked for Kansas Veteran’s home the past 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle D. White.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Darrin White of Wichita, Kansas; her daughter, Steffanie Walz and husband Scott of Decatur; her granddaughter, Danielle Voegele of Decatur; her grandson, Justin Voegele of Ark City, Kansas; her grandson, Jeffery Voegele and wife Jenn of Ark City, Kansas; her granddaughter, Darijon Voegele of Decatur; her granddaughter, Paige White of Wichita, Kansas; her grandson, Richard White of Wichita, Kansas; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
