Linda Nell Stogner

Decatur ~ Linda Nell Stogner, 75, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Decatur.

Memorial Service is at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.

Linda was born on November 25, 1950, to Warren Austin and Arlene Ruby (Ferrell) Stogner in Cordell, Oklahoma. She earned her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College Northwest Campus, showing her dedication to her goals. With that achievement, she took an important step in her career by becoming a paralegal, allowing her to make a meaningful impact in the legal field. Linda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother to her grand pets, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deana Starnes of Garland and Kelly Michelle Schurman of Fort Worth; her sisters, Paula Carman and Sandra Stogner; her brother, Larry Stogner; her many pets and grand pets; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Carter Foundation.
