Our Beloved Momma, Nana, Best Friend, Aunt, and Sister, Linda Faye Elsmere passed from this world into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 16, 2021, in Decatur Texas.
Linda was born November 5, 1947, in Decatur, Texas, to Leona Irene Hardee (Raley) and Joe Burl Hardee. She married her husband, Edward Elsmere on February 1, 1989, in Fort Worth, Texas. They were together until her passing.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, and an infant son, Adam.

Linda had a rough exterior, but was the most selfless individual you would ever meet. She never met a wayward kid or homeless dog that she did not try to take in and give a better life. She always said "Being a mom and a Nana was the greatest blessing of her life.”
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of 32 years Edward Elsmere, her children; Jamie Baird and husband Jason Baird of Alvord, Jennifer Rather of Bridgeport, Meredith Elsmere of Denton, and Heath Elsmere of Portage, Indiana. Her Grandchildren; Selma Dunn, Tyler Baird, Emilee Dunn, Ronyn Brady, Jaycen Brown, Aubrey Baird, Boston Baird, Camden Baird, and Madi, Curt, and Macey Espinoza. Her brothers; Larry and wife Ruthann Hardee of Alvord, and Vernon and wife Karen Hardee of Alvord, as well as 5 nephews, numerous cousins and many special friends and loved ones.
