Chico ~ Linda Ann Blanks, 52, a secretary, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 1, 2011 at her home in Chico. Funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers are Jace Halter, Danny Tolliver, Bradley North, Kyler Hale, Billy Garza, Terry Hand, Kevin Wiley, and J.D. Coffman.
Linda was born on August 23, 1959 to Ralph and Ann (Prause) Carter in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She was employed at Coffman Tank Trucks and a member of First Baptist Church in Chico.
Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Carter.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kelcey Blanks of Chico; her sons, Jeremy Blanks and Jerod Blanks both of Chico; her parents, Ralph and Ann Carter of Chico; her sisters, Wendy Denney and companion Jeff of Chico and Joyce O'Dell and husband Wayland of Balsora; the father of her children, Keith Blanks of Chico; other family members and a host of friends.
