Lillie Faye (Roberts) Hunt

Decatur ~ Lillie Faye Hunt, 66, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Sweetwater Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Lillie was born July 7, 1955 to James Emmitt and Ruby Lee (Maley) Roberts in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage November 26, 1971 to Kenneth Wesley Hunt in Decatur, Texas. Lillie was in the banking industry for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly. Lillie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, James and Ruby Roberts; her brother, David Luttrell, and her sisters, Coela Hudson and Elaine Scribner.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Kenneth; her daughters, Meradith Culpepper and husband Jason, and Lindsay Bond and husband Michael; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Sarah Culpepper, Eleanor and Benjamin Bond; her brothers, James Roberts of Phoenix, Arizona and Everette Luttrell of Las Vegas, Nevada; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
