Paradise ~ Lillian Frances Price Dykes, 76, a cook, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Lillian was born on November 10, 1938, to Rube and Bell (Gragsone) Price in Irving, Texas. She was united in marriage to Roy Dykes on May 30, 1957, in Irving.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Joshua James Dykes; her brothers, Doug, Elbert, and Thomas Price.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Roy Dykes of Paradise; her daughter, Brenda Francess Weightman and husband Roy Dean of Fort Worth; her sons, Roy John Barry Dykes and wife Janell of Arlington, and Preston James “Jay Bird” Dykes and wife Sherry of Paradise; her grandchildren, Michael Ambrose, Deeann Carlisle, Kacie Dykes, and Audrey Dykes; 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Sissy Holloway of Irving, Doris Minor and husband Archie of Alvarado, Dorothy May Bamburg and husband Billy of Corsicana; numerous nieces, and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
