A vibrant personality, Lewis was known for his sense of humor and playful spirit. Those who knew him often recall the delightful moments he stirred up as a prankster, leaving laughter in his wake. His spirited nature was best epitomized in the memory of him sprinting out of the Emergency Room in a rainstorm, showcasing his love for life and adventure even in trying times.
Lewis graduated from Boys Ranch High School in Amarillo, Texas, and carried that spirit of resilience and camaraderie throughout his life. He had a passion for good drinks and enjoyed sharing moments with friends and family over a toast.
He is survived by his two children, Jessie Ray Miller and Jasmine Nicole Gunter, who will carry forward his legacy of joy and humor. Lewis also leaves behind his brothers, John Reeves, Tommy Salazar, and Mikey Galvan, along with his sister, Patricia Galvan. Each of these family members holds treasured memories of their time with him.
Lewis was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Elizabeth Renshaw Gunter, and his siblings: Sarita Gunter Cabello, Ricky Gunter, Sonny Gunter, and Christina Gunter. The love and memories shared with Lewis will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Throughout his life, Lewis faced challenges due to poor health, yet his spirit remained vibrant until the end. He will be remembered not just for his laughter and fun-loving nature, but also for the deep bonds he forged with those around him.
