Leta Carol Paddack

Springtown ~ Leta Carol Paddack, 72, went to be with our Lord on September, 15, 2026, in Springtown.

Leta was born on February 9, 1954, to Carol Edward and Cleta Oleta (North) Taylor in Decatur. She was united in marriage to Dennis Kirby in 1992. Leta proudly owned and operated Leta’s Neon Moon for many years, a beloved part of her life that reflected her hard work, dedication, and independent spirit. She took great pride in her business and the many memories made there throughout the years. Leta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Wanda Hobbs and Connie Seaton; her grandsons, David Roe and Trey “Pooter” Seaton; her sister, Sue Slimp; her brother-in-law, Doyle Slimp; and her brother, Dennis Taylor.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Kirby; her daughter, Carol Castleberry and her husband, Jeffrey Downs of Springtown; her sons, Billy Paddack and his wife, Krystal of Paradise, and Johnny Paddack and his wife, Kodi of Bridgeport; her sisters, Wanda Salinias and her husband, Tony of Decatur, Diane Long and her husband, Terry of Bridgeport, Lisa Wages of Bridgeport, and Rosie of Bridgeport; her brothers, Alvin Detloff of Decatur and Leon Detloff of Paradise; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
