BRIDGEPORT -- Leon L. Tidmore, 88, a retired district manager for Lone Star Gas, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, at home. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Chapel. Burial: East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Leon was born in Long, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Leon married Billie Smith on February 12, 1994 in Bridgeport.

Survivors: Wife, Billie Tidmore of Bridgeport; sons, Wade Tidmore and wife, Linda of Glen Rose, Dennis Tidmore and wife, Rhonda of Graham and Gary Tidmore and wife, Kendra of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
