Boyd ~ Leo Lee Perkins, 80, a retired teacher, went to be with our Lord on September 13, 2017 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora.
Rev. Donald Davis will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Jake Tackett, Robert Demasses, Randy Crooks, Kyle Leonard, Chris Demasses, Kyle Armet, Rylie Tackett, and Rusty Simpson.
Leo was born on July 29, 1937 to Lee Roy and Martha Elizabeth (McEntire) Perkins in Hubbard. He was a history and government teacher for Fort Worth ISD for 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant sister; and his brothers, Melvin M. and Richard Perkins.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his niece, Joyce Barnett and husband Martin of Carrollton; his nephews, Melvin Perkins and wife Linda of Boyd, and Richard Perkins and wife Sue of Boyd; 6 great nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
