Lee Wayne Thompson

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, April 23rd at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Alvord the Reverend Ron Bird officiating. Interment will be in Jonestown Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbeares include Jack Rutledge, Jonathan Fennell, Bobby Watts, Rex Fry, Shawn Burkett and Ted Maxwell.

Lee was born July 25, 1944 in Decatur, Texas to J.W. and Dessie (Regan) Thompson.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Mrs. Dessie Thompson of Alvord, brother; Jim Thompson and wife Rosie of Alvord, nieces; Jerri Thompson, Sherri Counts, Tish Wright, nephews; Jim Thompson, Jr. and Billy McDaniel, 9 great nieces and nephews.

Lee is preceded in death by his father and sister, Janette Thompson.
