Laverna was born on November 1, 1940 to Cleo and Mary (Foster) Parker in Woody, Texas. She was a retired caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Burkett; her brother, Bob Burkett.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Terry Doyle Standefer and wife Melinda of Lake Dallas; her daughter, Nedinah Kay Davis and husband Craig of Odessa; her son, Randy Ross Standefer of Odessa; her grandchildren, TJ Standefer of Euless, CJ Davis and wife Amanda of Odessa, Megan Riley and husband Patrick of Lewisville, Lauren Davis of Odessa, Kirsten Nelson of Odessa, Randy G. Standefer of Odessa; her great grandchildren, Kylee, Haylee, and Rylee Davis, Mckenzie Willenborg Riley, and Lucy Riley; her brothers, Steve Parker of Odessa, Charles Burkett of Brownfield; her sister, Jan Burkett of Boyd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
