Decatur ~ Laura Marie Cates, 94, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Laura was born May 16, 1926 to Eugene and Lylia (Gentry) Dutille in Bermuda, Louisiana. She was united in marriage August 17, 1959 to James Gordon Cates in Decatur, Texas. Laura was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Cates; and her step-son, Jim Gordon Cates.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Joe Greene; and a host of friends.
