Alvord ~ Laura Mooney Hubbard Brewer, 85, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Laura was born March 2, 1937 to Harvey Madison, Jr. and Mary Jo (Hopson) Mooney in Decatur, Texas. She was a retired clerk for the Social Security Administration after many years working for the Government.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Jeanette Jinkens; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sarah Enochs and husband Jim of Alvord; her sons, Clayton Hubbard and wife Roberta of Alvord, and Harvey Hubbard of Blue Grove; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Dudley Mooney of Weatherford; her sisters, Dana Elliott Williams of Alvord, and Molly Crawshaw of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
