Decatur ~ Lawrence (Larry) Michael Loyd, 52, a directional Boring Machine locator, went to be with our Lord Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Glen Kersey will officiate. Pallbearers include Wendell Cauthen, Shane Brown, Larry Moody, Bill C. Kersey, Sam Britt, and Jay Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers are Casey Brown, Jason Reynolds, Jeff Davis, Jimmy Davis, Glen Foster, Greg Guinn, and Weldon Cauthen.
Larry was born on September 9, 1962 to Virgil Jr. and Marjorie (Reynolds) Loyd in Bridgeport. He was working for C.D. Brown Construction.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Loyd Jr.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shallie Tierce and husband Logan of Cottondale; his grandchildren, Trapper Tierce and Hagen Tierce; his mother, Marjorie Loyd of Decatur; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
