Larry Bisidas

Decatur ~ Larry Bisidas, 67, a water well driller, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 17, 2014 in Denton.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Dr. Bill Hughes will officiate. Pallbearers include Kenny Grantham, Rodney Quinn, Dillon Quinn, Jayme Bisidas, Buddy Harris, and Randy Griffeth. Honorary Pallbearers include Robert Hilton, Charles Harris, R.D. Bishop, and Tim Whitehead.

Larry was born on February 24, 1947 to Tony and Ruth (Pope) Bisidas in Coleman, Alabama. He was united in marriage to Janice Reed on July 3, 1964 in Lovington, New Mexico. Larry was an owner and operator of Bisidas Water Wells B & B for forty five years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Tony Edward Bisidas; his sisters, Reba Whitehead and Shelba Roberts.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Janice Bisidas of Decatur; his daughters, Tresa Quinn of Decatur, Janette Flake of Decatur, and Sherry Grantham and husband Kenny of Decatur; his grandchildren, Ashtin Dominguez and husband Dustin, Dillon Quinn, Chloe and Lexi Flake, Madison and Tyler Grantham; his great grandchild, Axel James Dominguez; his sister, Bonnie Kemp of Decatur; his mother, Ruth Bisidas of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
