DECATUR -- Kyle Lloyd Norton, 38, a heavy equipment operator, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday. Officiating: Rev. Gary Demmitt. Pallbearers: Tony Jackson, Jimmy Warden, Keith Dawson, Chase Lasiter, Barry Chapman, Justin Wood, Josh Wood, and Will Gage.

Kyle was born on January 8, 1968 in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: S.E. Norton and Robert and Marietta Colvin.

Survivors: daughters: Kyla Lynn, Kacie Paige, and Kameryn Lane; parents: Chuck and Carol Norton of Decatur; brothers: Clint Lee Norton of Decatur, Rusty Lane Norton and wife Randi of Decatur; sister: Amber Lyn Wood and husband Tony of Hutto; grandparents: Lloyd and Thelma Norton of Decatur; 3 nephews: Justin, Joshua, and Kevin Michael; and one niece: Toni Jeaniece.
