Kim Ann (Oates) Starnes

BOYD – Kimberly Ann Oates Starnes, 55, a co-owner of Starnes Construction and MS Ranch in Boyd, went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 21, 2014 in Boyd.
Funeral is 10:00 AM Friday at First Baptist Church in Boyd, with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers: Brian Wilson, Trey Luttrell, Troy Lackey, Jared Cate, Brent Wilson, Phillip Beyer, Toby Miller, and Kevin Cate.
Kimberly was born December 21, 1958 to James Henry and Sylvia Louise (Findley) Oates in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage to Mark Allan Starnes on May 2, 1980 in Paradise. Kim was Co-Owner of Starnes Construction and MS Ranch in Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Mark Starnes of Boyd; her sons, Ryan Starnes of Boyd, Shane Starnes of Boyd, and Chasen Starnes of Boyd; her granddaughter, Jalynn Starnes; her brothers, Gaylen Oates and wife Debra of Paradise, Michael Oates, Pat Oates and wife Cristi of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
