Chico ~ Kent Leon Partain, 63, a supervisor, went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service 9:30 – 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at the church. Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
Bishop Richard Gillespie will officiate.
Kent was born on August 7, 1951 to John Henry and Margaret Ruth (Phillips) Partain in Taft, California. He was united in marriage to Regina Mae Stinson on August 22, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. John was a supervisor for Logistics Oil and Gas. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Regina Partain of Chico; his daughter, Amelia Cox and husband Karl of Lubbock; 2 grandchildren, Emily Cox of Lubbock and Jacob Cox of Lubbock.
