Paradise ~ Kenneth Paul Florance, 84, a heavy machine operator, went to be with our Lord Monday, September 22, 2014 in Paradise.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Pete Putman will officiate. Honorary pallbearers include Ryan Hammond, Mike Florance, Keith Florance, and Kevin Florance.
Kenneth was born on November 3, 1929 to James and Marie (Briarly) Florance in Burkburnett. He was united in marriage to Carol Caine on September 25, 1959 in Cody, Wyoming. Kenneth retired from Boeing as a heavy machine operator. He was a member of the Cates Street Church of Christ. Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Florance; and his brother, John Florance.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Bryan Florance of Denton; his daughter, Leslie Florance of Lewisville; his brother, James Florance and wife Delene of Jacksboro; other family members and a host of friends.
