Bridgeport ~ Kenneth Earl Canova, 71, an equipment operator, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Decatur.
Memorial graveside is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
Rev. Sam Caldwell will officiate.
Kenneth was born on December 18, 1943 to Angelo and Clara (Brown) Canova in Camp Blanding, Florida. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. Kenneth was an equipment operator at Martin Marietta. He was a member of the Banshee Motorcyle Club.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Nathan Marsh; his brother, Duane Canova; his niece, Angie Canova; and his nephew, Brandon Walker.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Kenneth Canova Jr. of California, Mark Canova of California, Shannon Canova of Sunset; his daughter, Heather Canova of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Noah, Nicholas, Ashley, Devon, Kenny, Matthew, Earic, Keileigh, Destiny, and Cameron; his brother, Eugene Canova and wife Jan of Bridgeport; his sisters, Jo Ann Walker and husband Monte of Wichita Falls, Brenda Kennedy and husband Gaylord of Bridgeport; other family members and a host of friends.
