Kay “Pop Pop” Wilt, 88, of Justin passed from this earth Friday, July 10th, 2026 in Decatur, Texas.
Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 20th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21st at Gilliam Cemetery in Annona, Texas.
Fred Raney will officiate. Pallbearers include Michael Saint, Edward Campbell, Andrew Holt, Tristan Ward, Rick Davis, and Ashleigh Allen.
Kay was born March 23rd, 1938 to Irvin Andrew and Jenni (Spiecher) Wilt in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. He was united in marriage in Ft. Worth, Texas to Betty Mae. Kay was a diesel mechanic for many years working at Jones Trucking, and a member of the Ham Radio Club. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Andrew and Jenni Wilt; his beloved wife, Betty Mae Wilt; and a son, Darren Wilt.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Niki Ruks, Leigh Campbell, and Kathi Wilt; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; extended family and a host of friends.
