Kathy Durham

Newark ~ Kathy (Chesshir) Durham, 81, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Fort Worth.

Kathy was born on October 5, 1944, to D.E. Chesshir and Genevieve (Stone) Chesshir in Silverton, Texas. She was united in marriage to Page Durham on December 2, 1960, in Lockney, Texas. Kathy was a homemaker who devoted her time to creating a warm, loving home for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, D. E. Chesshir and Genevieve Chesshir and brothers Jerry Chesshir and David Chesshir.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Page Durham; her sons, Mike Durham and his wife, Joella, and David Durham; her daughters, Robin Puente and Ronda Durham and her sister Debra Pannell; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Durham residence in Newark, Tx on April 25th 1pm-4pm for family and close friends!
