Newark ~ Kathy Joan Davis, 71, a retired caregiver, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 13, 2015 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Chisholm Trail Church, 300 Chisholm Creek Parkway, Rhome, Texas.
Rev. Ron Graham will officiate.
Kathy was born on October 31, 1943 to Bryce and Pauleen Lindsey in Bermuda. She wore many hats in her career, from a cosmetologist, a truck driver and finally a caregiver. Kathy was a member of the Texas Sundowners Riding Club, she loved all horses but her favorite horse was “Joco”.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Davis; her brother, Bruce Lindsey; and her favorite fur-baby dog, Doc.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Maryann Krevenas of Newark; her son, Shawn Phares and wife Lisa of Newark; her grandson, Tyler Younis; her step grandson, Brian Massey; her granddaughters, Brandi Haslam, Harlie Phares, Hanna Phares and Halle Phares; her sister, Patricia Lindsey; other family members and a host of friends.
