Karson Reace Parker

Karson Reace Parker, 24, of Alvord went to be with his Lord Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Funeral is at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6th at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Ken Hering will officiate. Pallbearers include Kooper Parker, Treyson Chambers, Connor Patterson, Ransom Klein, William Martin, Tyler Estep and Eli Tefertiller. Honorary pallbearers are Conner Parker, Colton Parker, Gage Barclay, Thomas Hammer, Rey Aranda Jr, Jayton Malone and Curt Espinoza.

Karson was born August 22, 2001 to Ronnie Lynn and Tracy Lynn (Barclay) Parker in Decatur, Texas. He was a 2020 graduate of Alvord High school and a graduate of The Ocean Corporation. Karson was a free spirit who did everything wholeheartedly. He was a welder working in metal fabrication and worked beside his dad often; he was his best friend. Karson was known by friends and family for his huge heart, unwavering loyalty and the way he lit up a room when he walked in.

He was a natural leader and made everyone around him a better person. Karson loved hunting, fishing, golfing and most of all just being with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis & Jerry Barclay.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ronnie & Tracy Parker of Alvord; his brothers, Kooper Parker of Alvord and Kyle Parker & wife Rikki of Bridgeport; grandparents, Ricky & Sandy Parker of Alvord; nieces Sunnie & Goldie and nephew Kelton all of Bridgeport; uncles, Shawn Parker and Cody Parker and wife Jammie; numerous aunts, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
