Paradise ~ Karen Sue Russell, 71, went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Bridgeport.
Funeral Service is at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3rd, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, with burial at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Karen was born on September 12, 1954, to George and Alline (Ashbrook) Russell in Archer City. She retired as a medical aide. Karen was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alline Russell, and her nephew, Adam Watkins.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Sharon Watkins; her niece, Amanda Madera of Bridgeport; other relatives and a host of friends.
