Julia Lynn Cox-Wilson, 61 of Chico went to be with the Lord Friday November 10, 2017 at home.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Chapel in Bridgeport.
The Reverend Jackie S. Karsch will officiate. Pallbearers are Neil Richey, Amon Cox, Brad Boyd, J. D. Davila, Raleigh Cox, Ben North, and Jerry Beaver.
Julia Lynn was born in Bridgeport, Texas on January 25, 1956 to Ernest E. and Jo Ann (Wiley) Cox. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico, the Sunflower Camp, and the Red Bud Ramblers. She was preceded in death by her father E. E. Cox.
Julia Lynn enjoyed raising rodeo cattle and farm cattle. She was the owner of Mother Buckers Rodeo Cattle. Julia Lynn was an avid crochet (er), gardener, musician and music lover, and loved being outside. She loved her grandkids and being surrounded by them all.
She married Kenneth Wilson in Regency, Texas on October 22, 1994.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Kenneth Lynn Wilson; daughter, Jennifer Haney; sons, Cody South and wife Heather, and Joey South and wife Gingi; 9 grandchildren, Mattie, Maycie, Martie, Amellia, Sarah, Colton, Aalana, Ty, and Trevor; mother, Jo Ann Manning and husband Kenneth; brothers, Eddie Cox and wife Carmen, Ernie Cox, and Johnny Cox and wife Sandy; sister, Rebecca McDonald; mother in law, Theo M. Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, extended family, and friends.
