Juanita "Jo" Buck

Bridgeport~ Juanita “Jo” Buck, 81, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Bridgeport.

Funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial to follow in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.  Thursday at the funeral home.

Brother Jimmy Williams and Brother Cooper McClung will officiate. Pallbearers are to include J.D. Williams, Jr., Justin Williams, Alec Autry, Barry Woods, Clint Williams, and David McEntire. Honorary Pallbearers are Hunter Williams, Monte Graham, Jerry Buck and Jeff Buck.

Jo was born on March 18, 1940 to Ivy and Murel (Beck) Bolding. She was united in marriage to Bud Buck on February 5, 1981 in Decatur, Texas. Jo was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking and being in the kitchen. She was an avid quilter. Jo made many beautiful quilts over her lifetime and loved to make gifts of the quilts to her grandchildren and other friends and family. The most precious thing to Jo was spending time with her family which, she cherished the most. She was beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and good friend and neighbor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Scotty Williams.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Bud Buck of Bridgeport; her son, Jimmy Williams and wife Stacy of Paradise; her daughter, Traci Williams of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Jessica Autry and husband Eric of Grand Saline, J.D. Williams, Jr. of Ft. Worth  and Justin Williams of Paradise; her great-grandchildren, Alec Autry, Natilia Caywood, Lessa Autry, Lynnox Williams, and Hunter Williams; her sister, Judy Graham and husband Monte of Chico; her sister-in-law, Billie Williams and husband Warren of Amarillo; several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous extended family members and friends.
