Decatur: Juana Vega, 77, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, September 27, 2011 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1st, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Juan Rodas and Eulojio Puebla officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Juana was born September 6, 1934 in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan and Patrocinia (Hernandez) Melchor. She married Leopoldo Vega in Decatur, Texas. Juana is preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter, Leticia Lara, brother, Sergio Rodriguez and nephew, Sergio Rodriguez, Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Eliazar Torres and wife, Leonarda of Decatur, Cristina Vega Chapa and husband, Arnulfo of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Patty Casias and husband, Carlos, Cristina Cantu and husband, Fernando, Nelson Lara, Maribel Torres, Liliana Torres, Aracely Fraga and husband, Ivan all of Decatur, Alberto Torres and wife, Avelia, and Eliazar Torres, Jr. both of Sanger; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Isabella, Julian, Alexia, Julyssa, Zoe, Marc, Jacob, Alina, Isaac, Brianna, Fabian, Mathew and Dylan; two brothers, Jesus Rodriguez of Mexico and Jacobo Rodriguez of Decatur; sister, Rosa Elda Rodriguez; and great-great-granddaughter, Malorie.
